1. Bookings & Payments
- A deposit of 20% of the total booking value is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
- The balance must be paid no later than 60 days prior to the tour start date.
- Bookings made within 60 days of departure must be paid in full at the time of booking.
- Failure to pay the balance by the due date may result in cancellation of your booking in accordance with our Cancellation Policy.
2. Cancellations & Refunds
Cancellation by the Guest
- More than 120 days before departure: deposit refunded, less an administration fee.
- 120–90 days before departure: 50% of the total booking value refunded.
- 90–60 days before departure: 25% of the total booking value refunded.
- Less than 60 days before departure or no-show: no refund.
Cancellation by InGiro
- Tours require a minimum of 6 participants. If this number is not reached, InGiro reserves the right to cancel or re-cost the trip. Guests will be notified at least 45 days before departure. If a tour is canceled, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer to another InGiro tour.
- In the event of force majeure or unavoidable extraordinary circumstances (including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, strikes, or severe weather), InGiro reserves the right to cancel, modify, or postpone the tour.
- If cancellation occurs before the trip begins, guests will receive a refund or future credit.
- If disruption occurs after the trip has started, InGiro will make all reasonable efforts to continue or provide alternatives. Refunds for partially completed tours may not be available.
Unused Services
- No refunds will be made for unused services, including voluntary withdrawal, late arrival, or early departure.
3. Prices & Exclusions
All prices are stated in Euros (€EUR) and are current at the time of publication. The most up-to-date pricing is always available on our website. Payments are to be made in euros to InGiro’s Italian business bank account, unless otherwise specified at the time of booking.
If you are paying from outside the Eurozone, please note that your bank or card provider may apply their own exchange rates and fees. These charges are your responsibility and are not included in the tour price.
The price includes accommodation, ground transportation, and other inclusions as listed in the published itinerary.
International and domestic airfares, as well as airport/hotel transfers, are not included unless specifically stated. Costs associated with passports, visas, vaccinations, insurance, meals (other than those stipulated), emergency evacuation costs, gratuities, and all items of a personal nature are not included in the tour price.
Pricing Adjustments
InGiro reserves the right to adjust tour prices only in the event of:
- significant changes in fuel costs,
- taxes, levies, or fees imposed by third parties (such as tourist or landing fees), or
- fluctuations in exchange rates directly relevant to the tour.
Any adjustment will be limited to actual cost increases and will not exceed 8% of the total trip price. Guests will be notified of such adjustments at least 20 days prior to departure. After full payment has been received, the price is guaranteed and no further adjustments will be made.
4. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive travel insurance is required for all participants and must include: medical cover, accident cover, trip cancellation, baggage loss/damage, and personal liability. Proof of insurance may be requested before the tour begins.
5. Health & Fitness
By booking, you confirm that you are in good health and have the fitness level required for a cycling tour. InGiro reserves the right to refuse participation if your health or fitness could compromise your safety or that of the group.
6. Liability & Risk
Cycling carries inherent risks, including accidents, injuries, and theft. Guests participate at their own risk. InGiro accepts no liability for injuries, damages, or expenses caused by events outside its control (including but not limited to road conditions, weather, strikes, or third-party actions).
Participants may be required to sign a waiver of liability before the tour begins.
7. Inclusions & Exclusions
Included: accommodation, breakfasts, daily ride support (guide or guide + vehicle), internal transfers as per itinerary, and specified activities.
Not included: flights, travel insurance, lunches and dinners (unless specified), drinks, personal expenses, and services not listed in the itinerary.
8. Bike Rental & Equipment
Rental bikes are available for an additional fee. Guests are responsible for any damage or loss beyond normal wear and tear. If using your own bike, you are solely responsible for its transport, maintenance, and condition.
9. Group Size & Itinerary Changes
Minor changes that do not significantly affect the overall nature of the trip do not entitle guests to refunds or compensation.
Group size is limited to a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 12 participants.
InGiro reserves the right to adjust routes, itineraries, or activities due to weather, road closures, or safety concerns.
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
For EU residents, mandatory consumer rights under EU and Italian law also apply where relevant.
