Booking & Payments

How do I book a tour?
You can book directly through our website or by contacting us via email. A deposit is required to secure your spot, with the balance due before the start of the tour as detailed in our Terms & Conditions.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Payments are accepted by bank transfer.

What happens if I need to cancel my booking?
Our cancellation and refund policy is detailed in our Terms & Conditions. Depending on when you cancel, you may be eligible for a partial refund. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance to cover unexpected situations.

Before the Tour

Do I need travel insurance?
Yes, comprehensive travel insurance (including medical and trip cancellation coverage) is required for all participants.

What level of fitness do I need?
Our tours are designed for keen cyclists with a good level of fitness. Daily rides can include long climbs and distances. If you’re unsure, contact us and we’ll help match the right tour to your ability.

Do I need to bring my own bike?
You’re welcome to bring your own bike, and we’ll take care of transporting your bike case during the trip. Our team will also assist you with building your bike at the start and packing it safely at the end of the tour.
If you prefer not to travel with your own bike, we also offer high-quality rental bikes, and for some tours, a gravel bike experience is included.
Please note: if your bike requires any special tools for maintenance, these must be brought by you. We provide general mechanical support and standard tools throughout the tour.

What should I pack?
We’ll send you a full packing list before your trip. Essentials include cycling kit, helmet, casual clothes, and any personal items. Laundry for cycling clothing is available in most accommodations.

During the Tour

What kind of accommodation do you provide?
We stay in 3–4 star cycling-friendly hotels or guesthouses, always with private bathrooms. Twin share is standard, with single rooms available on request for an additional cost.

How big are the groups?
We keep groups small, with a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 12 riders including guides to create a friendly atmosphere and ensure personal attention.

What support do you provide during rides?
Every ride is guided, with one guide riding in the group and another in the support vehicle. The support van carries daypacks, spare parts, nutrition, and provides mechanical assistance when needed.

Are meals included?
Daily breakfast is included. Lunches and dinners are not included, giving you flexibility to explore local restaurants and trattorie or enjoy a relaxed evening at your own pace. On the bike, snacks, hydration, and coffee stops are provided.

Travel & Logistics

Where do the tours start and finish?
Each tour has different start and finish points, usually linked to nearby airports or major train stations. We’ll organise with you the best location for pick-up and drop-off based on your travel plans.

Are airport transfers included?
Yes, we include pick-up and drop-off transfers from designated airports or stations at the start and end of the tour.

What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety comes first. Routes may be adjusted in case of severe weather, but we always aim to keep you riding and experiencing the region.

Other

Can non-cycling partners join the trip?
Yes, we welcome non-riding companions. We can suggest cultural, food, and leisure activities while the group is out riding. Please note there is not a dedicated guide for non-cycling guests.

Is English spoken on the tours?
Yes, all guides speak English (and Italian, of course!).

How do I contact InGiro during the trip?
You’ll have access to our team by phone and WhatsApp, and your guides will always be available on-site.
